TABC Law and Underage Drinking

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

There are a number of different regulations that are in effect in the state of Texas which govern the sale of alcohol to minors. Although these are all covered under one particular law, usually referred to as the TABC law, they can be a bit confusing whenever considered as a whole. This sale of alcohol to minors requires that somebody who is serving alcohol checks the ID of each individual that they suspect may be underage. Even if the establishment gives them a wrist band, this would not serve as legal evidence that an individual was over the age of 21.

The Thought Process To Sell Structured Settlement Payments.

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

The person who will sell structured settlement payments need to think long and hard about the decision they are going to make. This decision should only be based on such reasons as a family financial emergency or possibly the purchase of a new home. Some have even taken this route in order to give their children a college education. To buy material things such as cars, shoes, or jewelry or to have the money to fund a summer vacation or a cruise is not a very good idea to sell structured settlement payments or to even sell a portion of them.

Looking Into Charitable Trusts

Monday, June 16th, 2008

I’d really like for my estate not to end up in the hands of the IRS. So I’m checking out
Charitable Trusts. Looks like a good potential way to go.
I’ve been reading up on the Charitable Pooled Income Fund online. Frankly, the more I can give to micro-lending programs and the less to Uncle Sam, the better.
Of course the hardest part will be convincing my wife that this is the best choice. She’ll want to give it all to the kids, but frankly they’re going to get more than enough as it is.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

Any federal crimes such as kidnapping across state lines or internet crime will result in a  federal criminal record  once the assailants are caught. These records are accessible only to the FBI and the person who has a federal criminal record. No third parties can have access to these files as is the case in other kinds of criminal records such as in the case of states and county records. Background checks employing this kind of criminal record search are rarely used for employment in the private sector if at all.

I have found this to be the best way to locate the most competitive deal and to research all of the available options in the shortest amount of time.
