Marketing Metrics open rate
Friday, November 28th, 2008Whenever one does a marketing program of any sort they should build into it a way to determine if the message is actually getting to the target audience. In Email Marketing Metrics we would refer to this as the open rate. It is expressed in a simple percentage by dividing the number of emails received and opened by the number sent out. It is determined by software that allows you to be notified when your email has been opened. If you are sending out emails and they are not being open you many need to change your format so that it generates more interest in the target audience.
