No Credit Mastercard

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Retail outlets around the globe readily accept both forms of credit card and although Visa seemed to have a greater number places it was accepted, that is not the situation as these are now closely matched. Now it seems, in many cases it is often no credit Mastercard that is recognised more easily and received in retail outlets and other establishments. While the advantages of both will be pretty similar to the other cards, they will more than likely discover that the interest amount charged by the two parties will be a little higher than usual. Nevertheless, providing the person issued a Mastercard only ever uses it in a responsible fashion, and makes the payments before they are due, they will soon see improvements in their credit rating. This behavior may also have a reduction in the interest rate you would normally pay once the credit has been cleaned up.

The Simple IRA Offers Tax Advantages For Both The Employer And Employee

Friday, November 7th, 2008

The simple IRA offers tax benefits for small businesses who wish to offer a retirement savings plan to its employees. Companies with 100 employees or less are eligible to participate in this tax-deferred savings plan. This retirement plan is easy to establish. Also, there are no annual IRS reporting requirements. Both the employer and employee make contributions to the IRA plan. Employers can take a tax deduction on the amounts contributed to the plan on the behalf of employees. Employees can make contributions on a pretax basis. The amounts will accumulate as tax deferred until funds are distributed from the plan.

Regarding Personal Liability Insurance

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

I really need to learn more about Personal Liability Insurance.
If you’re going to own your own business, you have to have insurance to protect yourself.
From what I’ve learned about Contractor’s Insurance, I should be able to afford the coverage I need, so that’s good.
The big issue is deciding how much coverage to get. I honestly have no idea how to figure that one out.
Watch this space.

Researching

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

out my various retirement options recently has unearthed some interesting savings options.  Why do I wait until after my 401k is getting hammered to start looking for different solutions?  Oh well, I’m glad I haven’t been hitting against the 401k maximum contribution amount, but rather I’m just socking away 3% of my paycheck every week.  I probably should be saving 6%, because my company will match half of that amount (so, a free 3% return on my investment), but in the current situation that the markets are experiencing, I’m resisting.  That’s probably not the smartest move, because even if I lose 30% in the markets, but my employer hands me an instant 50% ROI I still come out ahead.

An Insurance Consumer Advocate will provide a consumer rating for each insurance company to make more educated decision when choosing an insurance company. Credit Repair For Foreclosures

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

A foreclosure will occur if you don’t make your mortgage payments as promised. If this happens, in time, your creditor will repossess your home and put it up for sale. The proceeds of the sale will go toward paying off the unpaid mortgage note. If this situation happens to you, the evidence of the foreclosure will be noted on your credit report for seven years. As this is a very negative mark on your credit, it is important that you use credit repair to make sure that the foreclosure drops off your record at the seven year mark. You need to stay on top of this issue and repair your credit if necessary.
