Hardik Pandya delivered a game-changing performance, dismissing the formidable Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan at critical moments, effectively shifting the momentum in India's favor against Pakistan.

The Indian cricket team pulled off an incredible feat by defending a modest 120-run target against Pakistan in a gripping T20 World Cup match, securing a memorable victory. This triumph marks the second-lowest total ever defended against Pakistan in T20I history and sets a new record for the lowest total successfully defended by India in T20Is. Despite Pakistan’s promising start, their innings faltered, ultimately falling short by six runs. Jasprit Bumrah's three-wicket haul and Hardik Pandya’s pivotal two-wicket burst, including the dismissals of the dangerous Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, decisively tilted the match in India’s favor.

Pandya's reaction after dismissing Shadab Khan has gone viral for its non-chalant way.

In a thrilling T20 World Cup match in New York on Sunday, the Indian bowlers, led by a superb Jasprit Bumrah, showcased collective brilliance to secure a narrow six-run victory over Pakistan in a low-scoring contest.

Defending a modest total of 120, Bumrah's exceptional figures of 3/14, combined with Hardik Pandya's tight spell of 2/24, choked Pakistan to 113 for seven. Their disciplined bowling performance turned the game in India’s favor, ensuring a tense finish.

Earlier in the match, Pakistani pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir delivered excellent spells to bowl India out for 119 amidst a couple of rain delays. Shah, with figures of 3/21, and Amir, taking 2/23, capitalized on a slightly unpredictable pitch to stifle India's batting lineup. Rishabh Pant stood out for India with a sparkling 42 off 31 balls, featuring six boundaries, while Axar Patel contributed a valuable 20.

Brief scores:
India: 119 all out in 19 overs (Rishabh Pant 42, Axar Patel 20; Naseem Shah 3/21, Mohammad Amir 2/23, Haris Rauf 3/21).
Pakistan: 113/7 in 20 overs (Mohammad Rizwan 31; Hardik Pandya 2/24, Jasprit Bumrah 3/14).
India edged out Pakistan by six runs in a match that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end.
